One of the biggest drags of GPS units is the time consuming task of entering in the address. Many manufacturers have lightened up the load by allowing for ZIP code entry (sparing us state and city,) but it doesn’t get you, excuse the pun, zipping just the same. Navman thinks it has that problem solved with the new iCN 750 featuring NavPix. By simply browsing existing pictures in the devices cache, you tap on the place you wish to visit and off it will guide you. Now how simple is that? If you get to a place using the old school method of address entry, once you arrive, snap a picture of the place with the built-in camera and next time you can get there in the same quick fashion as other NavPix spots. Hey, while you’re at it, share the love and send the new NavPix location to a friend or upload it to Navman’s site for others to download and use!
Navman also announced two other units, the iCN 530 and iCN 330. SvenOnTech is in process of reviewing the iCN 320 but will get the 330 and complete the review on this unit instead.
