Apple iPhone

While I am quite sure that any pics of an Apple mobile phone are fake, it does lead us to the conclusion that the desire for such an animal is there. Will it happen? Eh, it might someday…

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster wrote in a research note sent to iLounge, “Additionally, we believe Apple will benefit from the new Intel-based Mac’s, along with what we estimate to be a 75% chance of a iPhone in the next 12 months.”

An Apple iPhone makes a lot of sense. Nokia in one quarter sell more phones than the total number of iPods manufactured. If we think of mobile devices as the new frontier of the PC revolution, then Apple must become a player at some point or forfeit an important market to Windows.
