Ten Technology, makers of the first Bluetooth headset for the iPod, have just released the new naviPlay kit that includes some over the ear headphones with built in controls.
Much like HP’s Bluetooth headset, you can now control most of the common tasks of the iPod such as play, skip, and volume, all from the side of the headphones. Unlike the HP headset, Ten Technology seems to have a better sounding headset…at least spec wise. With its built in lithium-polymer rechargeable battery, this thing should be cranking out the jams for you up to 30 feet from your iPod for some time. Stick that bad boy in your work out bag and leave it next to you, cord free, while you work out. Jump onto the treadmill and worry not about getting tangled while grabbing onto the handles when you try to get your heart beat registered.
For about $200, you’ll be doing good with one sweet set of headphones. Available from either the Apple Store or Dr. Bott.
