Virgin to offer UK’s first mobile TV

Well, it’s official. Yup, mobile TV is about to explode. No, not literally. Actually, it’s the market that experts are getting excited about. I think this is especially true with Virgin Mobile entering the mobile TV market.
Virgin will launch a mobile phone-based television service by the end of the year.
The company has announced details of a new deal with BT Movio, which will make television programmes available to Virgin Mobile customers on the go.
Users will be able to access five digital channels initially, as well as 350 radio channels. [Read the rest]
