The 3GSM World Congress is jumping with fun stuff and more great advancements for all you mobile users out there. Today Skype announced it’s latest version for the Pocket PC, version 2.0 which has a slew of great stuff.

“Skype for Pocket PC 2.0 delivers greater flexibility for callers who want to make free calls or chat without the need for a desktop PC,” said Niklas Zennström, Skype CEO and co-founder. “Together with our efforts to incorporate Skype into mobile phones, this next generation version of Skype for Pocket PC devices extends the reach of our popular software to an even broader market segment.”

The updated version betters the voice quality and ups the number of devices supported such as Asus MyPal A636, BenQ P50, E-TEN M600, Dopod 700, i-mate PDA2, PDA2K, JASJAR and Qtek 9000 and 9090, as well as the new HP iPAQ hw6900. Skype 2.0 will also work with the latest version of the portable operating system, Windows Mobile 5.0. More languages has been added as well as support for those hip-to-be-square screens such as the Treo 700w.

Also announced is the teaming up with mobile carrier Hutchison 3. It and Skype will offer full integration with the VoIP 75 million users. Once trails have completed successfully this year, the lucky countries to get this will include Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden, England, and Italy to boot.
