Is it going to happen? An iPod with just a screen on it and no ClickWheel?  Think Secret seems to say it will.  It’s reporting that Apple has been working an iPod that is all screen — 3.5 inches of it — and nothing else on its front.  How will one navigate you ask?  The same way you’ve always done but with a virtual ClickWheel on the new touch-sensitive LCD screen that appears at a touch of a finger and vanishes when you remove your finger. (Smudges will most likely stay on the screen, however.)

There’s very little details on the unit other then that the true iPod video has been in the making way before the current 5G even was out. Apple is supposedly working with other vendors on the touch screen but will have exclusive rights to it when the iPod releases. No information on if it’ll be wireless or how much video the unit will hold. Speculation continues that it may be announced at Apple’s 30th anniversary on April 1st. If this is to be, you’d be a fool not to get one!
