Hey, this “spy” photo of Apple’s Mobile Me has been sent to both Engadget and TUAW with details of it being the next Apple phone. This photo details a SIM card in the back of a Samsung phone that is in green with a white Apple logo on it. Sharpie was the inscribing tool of choice to label the SIM with the important field testing data reading, “xx/50 Test Unit”. The other two lines are in the more professional silk screen type stating, “Apple Computer” and “Internal Test MM1.3.a”.

So is this the real-deal? Is Apple going to become an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator)? Could this be the big announcement coming from Apple in its next event we keep hearing about? Well, maybe. This shot really doesn’t give us too much indicator of anything. With it being so blurry, it’s not difficult to print out a green piece of paper with an Apple logo on it and cut it down to a SIM size. Heck, maybe I should have done that. :) But I’ve seen more hooky things that became reality, so who knows. It’s quite possible Cingular will be raising the bar for Apple within the next month. We’ll have wait and see.
