An LCD Monitor That Plays DVDs?

Sure, you can buy a DVD player and LCD Monitor separately, but that takes up too much space. Dynaconnective combines the two technologies into one compact package. With an integrated side loading DVD player, this sleek white 15″ LCD monitor is a solid choice. A first of its kind, it boasts a quick 16ms response time, crisp 500:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness level of 350 cd/m2. Weighing just 9.9 pounds, it’s no larger than your average flat panel.

Unfortunately, this monitor goes with the saying “too little, too late.” Priced at around US$339 - about $100 more than your average 17″ flat panel - this LCD lacks DVI (digital) inputs, which means you’re stuck with an outdated analog connection. If your’e mainly a Web surfer like me, than that shouldn’t be a problem. Otherwise, if you aren’t pressed for space and don’t need a built-in DVD player, save your money for a better monitor.
