It’s nearly a new year and a new update for the best custom photo/ring tone per contact for the PocketPC has been update. Photo Contacts Pro 4.0 has just been released and there are a slew of new features to be found. Now you can assign a ring tone to those nasty Unknown or Private callers. This way you know just by the sound of the ring tone that it’s a call you don’t have to rush to answer. Or better yet, just have Photo Contacts not ring at all as this is yet another new feature that can be used to your advantage. More new features include full Windows Mobile 5.0 support, skinable Call Dialog (answer/ignore buttons), as well as filtering for all contacts. All in all, it’s an update well worth it.

If you don’t have Photo Contacts Pro on your PocketPC smartphone, then you need this. Trust me, I’ve used the other four applications out there and this is by far the best of the lot.
