I’m a Bluetooth headset nut and am always looking for something better. I love my Logitech Mobile Freedom but it broke last week. Now I’m free (pun intended) of any obligation from it and can look to other headsets. One such headset has been reviewed by MobileTechReview and that headset is from Plantronics. Plantronics has just refreshed its line of Bluetooth headsets and the one reviewed by MobileTechReview is the Discovery 640.
Out of the gates, they say it’s lighter, sleeker, and better in sound quality. I’ve come to love my office headset from Plantronics and won’t even look at other brands anymore because of my love for it. But Bluetooth is a different animal. There is a lot more involved such as reception range, sound quality, and ease-of-use with a cell phone or smartphone such as no-brainer pairing. It’s in these areas where Plantronics needs some work, especially with the Treo, says Tong Zhang, Senior Editor for MobileTechReview.
I don’t want to give away all the of the meat, so just head over and see what Tong thinks of this hands-free headset. I’ve come to appreciate his reviews and trust what he says. I know you can, too.
