He and Leo Laporte explain the problem with Wi-Fi and specifically the false sense of security with MAC Address filtering in their eleventh Podcast, Security Now! Unbreakable Wi-Fi Security. I heavily suggest you go and download this (various formats available) and listen to it very carefully if you use Wi-Fi. You’ll be very surprised… and educated to the true problems of 802.11b.
