And the Cradle Will Rock!

I told you about the Sonos Cradle when it hit the market and now I’m hear to give you the low down on it.

The nice folks at Sonos sent me a cradle to pair it with my already well used controller soon after they released it to the public. Packaged in the same type of boxes as the rest of their equipment, I was impressed with the care and detail Sonos gave, well, a plastic container. :) Once out of it’s packaging, I grabbed the electric drill and put some fresh holes into my wall just above the Siemens phone in our family room. The mount plate went up flush with both screws fastened to it and on popped the cradle. Piece of cake! After plugging in the power cord to the bottom of the cradle, I dropped in the Sonos Controller and on came the orange light indicating it was getting charged. But what impressed me the most was just how good this thing looked. For a piece of plastic, dude, it just comes real close to some kind of art you’d find in the Soho district of NYC.

After using the cradle for a few days, I’ve got to say to Sonos, “What took you so long with this?!” This should have been out when the controller was birthed. I can’t imagine life without the cradle like I can’t imagine life without my Sonos. It’s so stinkin’ convenient and so blimey beautiful that you’d be stupid not to order this with your Sonos unit. I would have to say I agree with Van Halen, this cradle does rock!
