Sony’s Network Walkman, the NW-A1000, gets a nice little 2 GB update. This high density all comes from a one-inch hard drive that definitely gets a gold star for amazing.

Oh, speaking of gold, you can get the NW-A1000 in either all black or all gold. And while I love my iPod to death, I’ve got to admit, having the screen seem as if it’s part of the players shell is just really awesome. The interface is probably the best next to Apple’s, which I still think is leaps-and-bounds above anything else. Oh, don’t get too excited - this will be a Japan-only purchase via the SonyStyle site.
