I’ll be honest, I have not updated my ring tone in so freaking long, that I am not sure it will ever really be much of an issue. Apparently, I could be a minority here.

About one-half of mobile phone owners between the ages 12 and 24 have downloaded ring tones, according to Ipsos-Insight. Older phone owners appear to be happy with preloaded tones.

Fully 52% of those ages 12 to 17 who have a cell phone said they had downloaded a ring tone, and just under 50% of 18 to 24 year-olds were also downloaders, Ipsos-Insight reports. The percentage drops to 30% for those between the ages of 25 and 35, and lower still among older users. [Read the rest]
