No silly, an ultimate weapon would be universally accessible broadband from anywhere with no rural limitations - none. Then again, my definition of ‘ultimate’ may be a little too intense.
Santa Clara (CA) - WiMax wireless broadband is a new opportunity for Intel to throw its silicon into a new market segment and enable new Internet applications for users at home, in offices and on the road. While the company recently announced its first WiMax chipset, the deployment and availability of the technology is far from being a done deal. Tom’s Hardware Guide talked with Intel about opportunities and challenges for a global success of WiMax.
