Here’s some interesting news about Apple’s upcoming iPod Camera Connector. It seems you’ll be able to download both video and audio in addition to photos from your camera (if it supports those formats.) Apple’s support documents do warn that neither format will be able to be previewed while on the iPod photo, but hey, it’s great that at least will hold those files. Good job, Apple!

“Though you can’t view movie files on iPod photo, you can view it on your computer after you connect your iPod to your computer and transfer the file,” Apple says in one document. “If you select the file on your iPod, you will see the following message: ‘This media file cannot be viewed or played on iPod.
