CallWave Names Marketing Head

Oh man, here is a company that I have not thought about in a longtime. CallWave. Remember now? Yes, it may seemed like they dropped off the face of the planet for a time, but they are still around and kicking. As a matter of fact, they just named their new marketing head. With any luck, he will be able to do something to get people excited about this once popular company again. Only time will tell, I guess.

Santa Barbara-based CallWave has appointed a new head of marketing for the firm. The company said that it has appointed Adrian van Haaften as Chief Marketing Officer. van Haaften was most recently VP Strategic Partnerships at MyPoints, a loyalty reward marketer. van Haaften also served at OpenGrid, Laptop Lane, and Emmperative. The company also said that existing VP of marketing Dave Brahm left to pursue other interests. CallWave provides Internet-based Voice over IP applications including call screening, messaging, and more.
