As I look closely at this graph of pre-paid wireless providers, I must admit that the fact that Virgin Mobile is beating the pants off of the prepaid competition is just not a real shock to me. Seriously people, they have have the best word of mouth marketing out there.

Once again the Gizmodo Buzz Index presents you with a unique view of some particlar market segment. And by unique I mean “with pretty colors in Microsoft Excel.” This week, I looked into prepaid wireless programs. On their way out? Some may say so, but given the popularity of T-Mobile’s and Virgin Wireless’ programs, I don’t think that’s the case. I personally didn’t know Cingular even offered a prepaid wireless program, which might explain the nearly negligable search results returned.
