Flight Tracker is real and you can receive your updates on your flight in real-time as you rush out the door.

Launched by British Airways, this original service allows customers to receive the latest information on the status of their flight while on the move.

Customers are simply required to text “track” followed by their flight number to a designated number (80747), and they will receive real time flight departure, arrival and disruption information taken directly from the British Airways website ba.com.

The information will be sent to their mobile phone four hours before a scheduled departure, no matter where they happen to be in the world. Users can also request information on flights days in advance by adding the date after the flight number.
