Now here is a Pocket PC app that really can make a difference to most people. The program gives the user the ability to sort through their contacts easily with only one hand.
he folks at Geekzone have reviewed an interesting application that tackles a very common problem among Pocket PC users: using Contacts with only one hand. The program’s called “.mobile Contacts” and it’s aimed at making Contacts “thumb-able.”
“.mobile Contacts brings a user interface that allows single hand use of a Pocket PC, in this case the Contacts database. It also adds some functionality to the interface, making it more functional. Using one hand, click the button, and the use the thumb to “drag” the contact list up and down. The movement is smooth, and precise. To jump to a specific surname, simply click the Jump icon on the right side and select the letter from a table that will be shown on the screen. If you happen to be using both hands, just start writing the contact’s name and the list will be filtered. To see the contact’s details tap the Open Detail icon on the right side.”
