Portable Media Center Movies is a new website that offers public domain movies in a format encoded for mobile devices. You’ll need BitTorrent to download them but they’re free.
You’ll find some cool older stuff like movies by The Three Stooges, mystery movies, and even some Sci-Fi stuff. Since it’s public domain most of the movies are in black and white but hey, it’s free and they’ve done all the long encoding for you. The movies are optimized for 320×240 resolution making it perfect for the Portable Media Centers and Windows Mobile devices. They intend to offer DivX soon.
