Who needs a PDA when you have a pen, right? Well, there could be a viable alternative for the many pen and paper types out there. The device is called Pegasus Mobile NoteTaker and it sounds promising, yet limiting at the same time. Promising since you can now take notes on regular paper and have the info stored into the pen itself, limiting since you have to contend with a pen that is a real pain to write with. :o(
For many people, my mum included, it’s still easier to organise life with a pen and paper rather than a notebook, PDA or smart phone. There is still something more immediate about being able to grab a pen and a scrap of paper and to scribble. There’s no boot up, no need to be able to touch type and for the great majority of us our drawing skills remain far superior with a pencil than with a mouse, writes Gordon Kelly.
