If you have access to a PHP server, you can use your GMail account from your WAP-enabled cell phone. Gmail-mobile is an open source utility written in PHP that lets you interact with your e-mail account on GMail.
Gmail-mobile is based on libgmailer which is included in the download. You can check your e-mail, compose new messages, work with your labels, etc. using your phone. It’s just been released so expect some bugs. Please note there is not much documentation for the program at this point but the authors seem to be responsive to bug reports submitted on SourceForge where the utility is hosted.
