Verizon’s EV-DO coming to a town near you?

Verizon’s EV-DO network is being rolled out a little at a time and users in the cities that have the service are saying really nice things about it. High-speed and reliable are the descriptives I hear a lot and having been a customer of Verizon’s NationalAccess system since its inception, I’ve been really waiting for the EV-DO roll out.
Engadget is reporting that Verizon is set to roll out the EV-DO service in the near future in Boston, Chicago, and Houston next. Hey, Houston, that’s me. :) I can’t wait to get my hands on EV-DO and experience DSL speeds on my laptop. The Verizon service is currently available in San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas with New York City and Tampa Bay being tested now.
