As Blackberry contiues their aim at the comsumer market, Nokia has decided to add some funky looking keyboard to their mobile phones in the form of the Nokia Communicator. It sounds like a great idea on the surface, but is having an actual keyboard built into a phone really going to be that helpful?

The smart phone market will grow more crowded with the debut of two devices directed at opposite ends of the customer spectrum: a BlackBerry for consumers with a newfangled keyboard and a Nokia phone-organizer for mobile business professionals.

The new BlackBerry is only the first in a new wave of smart phones with real e-mail keyboards.
