Intel forecasts future portable will go faster and last all day

The Intel Developer Forum is being held this week in San Francisco and Intel reps are showing the road map for future mobile devices. The next notebook platform is the Sonoma which is due early next year.
Intel is predicting that by the end of the decade laptops will be delivering desktop performance for 8 hours on a single charge.
