“Devices using ZigBee, a short-range wireless networking technology, will proliferate quickly starting in 2006, according to a study released Tuesday by ABI Research.
The study predicted that shipments of ZigBee-enabled devices will reach about one million in 2005, but will number about 80 million devices worldwide by the end of 2006.”
Seems to me that this is exactly the kind of hype we all saw at the introduction of Bluetooth. By the way, how many Bluetooth devices do YOU have?
