Video Recording Issues/Questions

     After having a streaming radio station for several years, I’ve decided to supplement it with a video stream of the DJ’s doing their thing. I won’t be putting the audio from the radio stream on the video stream to avoid copyright issues.  

     I’ve never done much more with video than the usual instant messenger stuff. What I want to do is record a 4 or 5 minute video telling viewers about the radio station. This video loop would run whenever there wasn’t a live DJ doing a program.

     I’m seeking advice on doing this project. I’m going to attempt to do it with Windows movie maker. If someone can suggest a better (free) program I would love to hear about it. Also what issues are there with making the video file constantly repeat itself?

     I know I can count on lockergnome techies to help me through this one.
