What’s Up With Facebook?

Yes, I opened a Facebook account. Our kids were using it so my wife and I signed up. From the onset it was obvious that Facebook is geared to a more youthful group i.e., teens and college students. I had no problem with that as my goal was sharing information with the kids. The problem I have is the site is just too **** hard to use. It seems like each time I sign in things are different. While the site does have nice features, it definitely isn’t user friendly to me. I’ll continue to use it and hopefully conquer the method to their madness.
I’d love to hear others’ impressions of Facebook.

My friends also enjoy Facebook. When I ask them why, most of them respond that it’s “Cleaner and more mature then MySpace”. Most pages on MySpace all have these terrible backgrounds which make it almost impossible to read what people are typing. Facebook just looks a lot cleaner then MySpace.
Of course, I don’t think it’s going to stay that way forever. As more and more people use it, I’m going to assume that Facebook is going to turn into the next MySpace. I find that it has way to many applications, and it just seems to me that things are going to go wrong some point in the future. As it is right now; Facebook seems to have the feel of being more ‘mature’ then MySpace.
My point? “Facebook is better then MySpace”
