Is Your Family Active Online?

Is your family active online? I’m struggling with it. Unfortunately most of my family isn’t as computer active as me or as active as I would like them to be. Most attempt to do the usual email things like sharing news, events, pictures, and jokes. But they don’t do it often enough to make it a reliable form of communications. Since my extended family is some 60 or so strong I attempted to improve on the communications by creating a family yahoo group. With it, an email addressed to one address would reach all, pictures could be uploaded for all to share, a calendar would be available etc. I sent several invitations out to all concerned and have had minimal response to join.

The pathetic thing is that every family event I hear “We don’t communicate well enough”. Anyone else have this problem? What did you do about it?
