This isn’t an Open Source tool, but it’s still useful for us music people who don’t want no stinking DRM! Here comes DVD Jon to the rescue…
This is a freeware tool from DoubleTwist that allows people to copy or sync media from one device to another.

Double twist currently only has a private beta and will not release to the public until March.
Since I am not invited to be in the private beta, I can not comment on the ability of this version of the software to remove the DigitalRestrictionsManagment Layer from you media. But you can follow this twitter page if you are interested.

i think this blog post is over a year old and since dt just re-launched here and now in 2009 it deserves another, fresher blog post.
