A flash in the cards: more flash card programs

This entry is about two more Java programs that help memorize facts, or vocabulary using the Leitner Flash Card method. The two applications are called jMemorize and jVLT ( java Vocabulary Learning Tool). The nice thing about the other programs was that the Web site acted as a collection point for lessons, but neither of these sites acts in that fashion, so you can import CSV (Comma Separated Variable) type files so in this case you appear to have to enter the information for both of these applications yourself. But once the information is entered that information is automatically shuffled and presented to you.

My advice to those you maintain these applications is to provide some kind of repository for the vocabularies that are being created. Let’s share, and we will all win.
