AT&T Gives Free WiFi to iPhone Owners

AT&T Apple announced today that it is giving free wifi access to owners of Apple’s popular iPhone at more than 17,000 hotspots in the United States. This will also include all Starbucks locations since AT&T surplanted T-mobile as their wireless ISP. There are no details as to how you access your free wifi. You can go here for an AT&T wireless hotspot locator.

Update: AT&T says “syke” and pulls the offer and web page from the site. Apparently another mistake. This is the second time with the same offer that AT&T has done this. Shame shame AT&T.

Well, AT&T has been offering FREE WIFI to ALL their DSL customers for some time. I do not have an iPhone, but I get free wifi at all the same locations as the iPhone users.
