In the wrong hands, PowerPoint is the bane of any public presentation, a public viewable cue card for the presenter to use as a crutch. Used effectively, PowerPoint enhances a presentation with details and visualizations not easily conveyed via speech alone. If there’s a single slide you want to share with others, distributing it as a slideshow makes almost no sense. It’s easier to save the file out as an image. This also makes PowerPoint an effective tool for creating titles for Windows Movie Maker projects. You can do all the layout work in PowerPoint and save your finished slide as a JPG for import into Windows Movie Maker or any other video editing application. If you want to save out a single slide as an image, Microsoft doesn’t make the process very obvious. Based on a recent question, follow some simple steps to export a PowerPoint slide as a JPG.

It’s 6 in the morning, and I’m pulling an all-nighter, and for the first time, the internet has let me down? Man, what the hell are you trying to say? You’re title says “Export PowerPoint Slides as Image Files.” All you do, is spew useless garbage for few worthless lines, and then what? Point to another article. If you’re going to write about something, then make a reflective title. If not, get your incompetent ass out of the internet. There’s only one way you’re title can work, and that’s if it has an “!” at the end, requesting people to export their ppt’s as images. I came to this for a quick set of instructions, and what do I find? This crap? This is the first time I’ve been so angry when under this much stress to waste my time commenting on such a stupid, stupid article.
