Burning Recorded TV Episodes to DVD

I was recently asked how to burn several episodes of a popular television show to a signle DVD. While more than one method will deliver a usable end result, some methods are better than others. Authoring DVDs is a fairly straight forward process, but if you forget any of the steps required you may end up with a coaster that won’t play in your DVD player. Depending on the level of polish you want for your DVD, in addition to the movie, including a menu may be an desired extra step. If you want to include several video files on the same DVD, like several episodes of the same TV show for instance, you definitely need a menu to navigate between episodes. To create a DVD with multiple video clips, you need authoring software capable of creating the menus, converting the video clips to a DVD compatible format and burning software to create the finished shiny disk. Read my recent guide to burning multiple television episodes to a single DVD.
