Tunesmith is hitting the road in search of the, “Best Song” and “Best Songwriting Team” and will be at the historic Clermont Inn May 20-22, 2005, featuring special guests Charlie Craig, Marc-Alan Barnette, and Michael Peterson. Sign up at the Tunesmith website.

This year’s tour is part song search and part seminar. All levels of songwriters are welcome to sign up for the seminar to sharpen their songwriting skills and the opportunity to network with music professionals. You must attend the seminar for a chance to compete in the song contest. Seminar attendees are free to develop their own teams OR be paired with another songwriter/songwriters to co-write a new song based on the rules furnished at the beginning of the event. Each song will be performed at the seminar and a local winner chosen.

Tunesmith will be, “On The Road”, in 12 different cities in 12 months, across America in search of hit songs and hit songwriters. The best song from each city will be compete for a grand finale in Nashville in June 2006. One song will be chosen at the, ” SUPER Song Write-Off “. The winner will perform the song at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville. Also the winner will perform on the Nashville Show with Ralph Emery and Shotgun Red.
