Convert DVD Soundtracks to CD

The soundtrack in a movie is often quite different than the soundtrack sold on CD associated with the movie. When you watch the movie, you hear different songs; get all the dialog; and brace yourself for the intense sound effects. The soundtrack at the store is generally a commercial compilation of songs found in the movie and songs the studio is paying for to help sell copies of the soundtrack. If you want the soundtrack from the movie, complete with dialog and effects, you need to make it yourself. Following a few quick steps, you can take the audio from any movie with you on CD or as an MP3 or WMA format audio file. Read this free tutorial on converting DVD audio to CD to find out how.

Hi
I have video lectures by my professor on DVD. I would like to record them on to AUDIO CD so that I can play them in my car while travelling and keep learning. Is that possible? What software should I buy. Please help.
Thanks
Chandra
