PapaJohn - Playing with a Creative Zen

You may have seen the new Creative Zen Portable Media Center…. if not, there’s a picture of one on www.pmcplayer.com, and you’ll see it many times in my sample videos below. It’s the kind of device that I’ve been waiting for, something that does for my home movies what music players like the iPod do for music…. and it does the music and pictures and recorded TV too!!!

The syncing to it from my laptop is easy, the viewing experience on it is wonderful…. and I don’t think I can fill up its space. With a couple hundred videos on it so far, it looks like it’ll hold over 100 hours of the home movie productions made with Movie Maker. It’s a perfect compliment to my computer movie productions.

I’m jotting notes to share about what I find… until then, here’s a few of my home videos on it, and a video from the new WMV-HD dual disc sets:

Zen and the Seattle Monorail - Analog Hi8 Camcorder

Zen and Grandkids - Analog Hi8 Camcorder

Zen and Brook Lodge - Augusta, Michigan - Digital Camcorder

Zen and Seagulls - Analog Hi8 Camcorder

Zen and Files Derived from WMV-HD

While you watch these, I’ll check my notes and start adding some comments about the new player.

You have posted five videos players. None of them are connecting anywhere.

So much for accuracy.
