Neuros

Yeah, I’d like one of these. Sure it’s been around for a while – so maybe it’s not exactly a current news item, but it’s still cool. The amazing Neuros digital audio ‘computer’. What first brought this up on my radar? It was one of the first portable audio devices to support ogg. For that you need a firmware update – but, really, who doesn’t love reflashing their audio player’s firmware?

Some of the other features? Built in FM broadcasting, line in recording, song identifying technology, backpack style extended storage, and a radio. Pretty cool stuff – and the new one is all black. Nice. They also support open development of the firmware – which could provide some pretty interesting features in the future.

And hey, if you have one, or you get one, let me know what you think about it.
