Frackin’ CBS!

  • No Related Post

No Linux rants today, that is reserved for CBS! Just found out that they canceled Jericho, one of the shows that I had to watch every week. Of course it ended on a hell of cliffhanger. It started out with great ratings but like all the other networks they give it a mid-season hiatus, people move on and don’t know when it returns. Why oh why do they do that? Then I look at the shows they plan to introduce to replace it and shake my head in amazement. At least I know that 24 and Lost are back for 2 more seasons. I know Battlestar Galactica is around for a least one more. Unfortunately Stargate SG1 is ending in a few more episodes but Atlantis will still be on. I’m still upset about Jericho though…just like Invasion on ABC last year.

As Yosemite Sam would say…friggin’ frackin’ $@#_@)@&@)($)@()(!!!

Thanks for the heads up. Wait until I tell the wife. She’ll hit the roof as well. :-)

I was a fan as well, but I did wonder how much drawing power it was going to have without Gerald McRaney. Alas, it is the state of most television today. The strange thing is that the network executives seem to be scratching their collective head on this one. They just don’t understand why the ratings erode when they act so stupidly.

Here’s a though that I threw on the Jericho Wiki; I never watched the show on the air, I always watched it on the web. Why not created the first web based show. We are, afterall, the TIVO generation.

Jessie…

I Googled for something completely different, but found your page…and have to say thanks. nice read….
