Are you a small computer repair person and builder? I build maybe six computers a year for customers. Until I found this link, I thought that I couldn’t offer the discounted or free upgrades to Windows Vista that the big boys do. Here’s what you do: Go to the Microsoft Partner Program first and enroll. Once you’ve done that, go and register for the OEM System Builder Web Site. Once you’ve done that, you can go to a Canadian Authorized Microsoft OEM Distributor or American Authorized Microsoft OEM Distributor (other countries should use the drop down box here to select their country) to obtain the serialized redemption forms. If you cannot get a form from your distributor, contact Microsoft.
By the way, all of this is FREE! One of the benefits of the Microsoft Partner Program is a free support incident if your customer is in a “business down” situation - that is, their business is unable to operate because of a problem with Microsoft software.
