When Capcom’s Clover Studio shuttered its windows last October creativity wept and I wrote two haikus. Today, those tears of sorrow have turned into tears of joy with the revelation that Clover Studio has reorganized into Seeds Studio.
The new studio is headed by “Viewtiful Joe” producer, Atsushi Inaba, and “Devil May Cry” director, Hideki Kamiya, with help from “Resident Evil” creator, Shinji Mikami. The three, while at Clover, were responsible for the critically acclaimed game, “Okami”.
In the long tradition of Lunabean Haikus, here is my take on the new studio…

Seeds have been planted
Creativity blooms fresh
Gaming world needs you
————-
And, another one for good measure (pun intended!)
————-
Make games for me please
Oh, gods of gaming pleasure
I promise to buy
————-
Oh, you can handle one more…
————-
As I drink coffee
Daily gaming news rolls in
Seeds news made me smile

You can check out the Seeds website, but it’s all in Japanese, so you’ll need a translator (computer or real).
