Binary Beats is the work of James Powers. He offers a large number of his Creative Commons ambient tracks at his web site. He also does over styles of music. He also has a short clip of some material he is currently working that is interesting enough to make sure I go back and check his site once in a while.
I rather like ambient when I write and do XHTML. After loading up much of his material, I started working on show notes for my show at Geeks Radio I finally decided to go with “Adventures in Ambient on Acid”. I agree fully with what he recommends at his web site. This is best listened to though headphones.
