RIAA Reaches New Low by Suing Patient with Pancreatitis

I have told you many times it will never stop. Like a nightmare that you can’t awake from the Gestapo RIAA continues its sham litigation reign of terror. This time it is after nineteen-year-old Ciara Sauro. She, as do almost all, says she did nothing wrong. The girl’s mother, according to P2P, earns $8.25 per hour and was unable to mount any defense.

She may now be liable for 8,000 dollars in damages. The sad lesson to be learned here is that the “Ostrich Method” does not work against a team of “legal vultures.” When you poke your head in the sand you inevitably leave a certain orifice exposed. To the RIAA, that hole is like looking in a mirror and it pounces on it. (I know it’s a bit graphic but, if you held down your breakfast this far, you will be fine.)

I hope that the EFF rides into this story like a knight in shining armor. Actually, I would prefer it more like an armored cavalry regiment with heavy air support converting the HQ to rubble to use as backfill for the grave it has dug for the current industry.

I wonder, does the RIAA even have a PR or a marketing department anymore? Folks, boycott it; support the indie artists and organizations like the EFF.
