24 November 2008 POD - 77 South
I went with something lighter in mood, "Open the Pod Door HAL" by 77 South. I found them over at Podsafe Music Network.
This band hails from Cleveland and took thier name from one of our major freeways. Although this is one of thier lighter funner songs, they do also play country and rock. I did try and make contact with them recently but failed. If any of you know how to contact them, please leave me a comment.
Thanks for reading and listening.

I know the band and the members. They used to have contact info on their site, 77south.com… but the have since let the band dissolve. The Keyboard player, Dave, and lead guitar, Jeff, were in a band with my wife.
It is a shame…They were good. They used to be listed a long time ago as Sandbridge. They sang a song that was in a local bar’s jukebox. The song was “Shorty’s in the Flats”, for the bar aptly named…Shorty’s.

Hi, this is Jeff Ronay of 77 South. Appreciate the feedback on 77 South. I formed the band in 2002, but gigs were getting harder and harder to find, mainly due to a bar scene and economy that was drying up, so we stopped performing as a band in January of 2008. However, I wrote and recorded all the original songs for the band, and continue to write and publish new songs under my name, Jeff Ronay. The latest release is Fool In Love which should be available soon on iTunes and other major downloads. Thanks to Lumpy, GeeksRadio.FM, and Podsafe music for all the exposure.
You can email me at jronay@cox.net if you have questions, etc.
Thanks,
Jeff Ronay
