Barry McCabe - The Peace Within
Today I picked “One of These Days” by Barry McCabe. I found him over at Podsafe Audio.
This track came off of his “The Peace Within” album. This guy taps into everything from folk, blues, rock and Celtic. He is very good and has a great sound.
His home page has four albums available and sample tracks from all of them. Barry also has an informative biography at his web site.
Today is also World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. It began with this resoulution.

I’m so glad you chose Barry McCabe as your “Today’s Pick!” His “The Peace Within” is one of the best CDs ever! Be sure to listen to “The Emigrant” on this CD - dedicated to Rory Gallagher. It is the most beautiful heartrending songs ever written! Barry wrote it with the master piper and low whistle musician, Davy Spillane, another Irish maestro. Davy plays the low whistle on the song - the cry of the whistle at the end of the song will break your heart…
