Arthur C. Clarke Dies

I heard about this early this morning. Arthur C. Clarke dead at 90.
Mr. Clarke was an author of great merit whose titles included 2001: A Space Odyssey, 2010, and Rendezvous with Rama.
Mr. Clarke is also know for his Three Laws of Prediction and is credited with being the visionary behind the communication satellite. The prime geostationary orbits that these satellites use are referred to as the Clarke Belt in his honor.
