Inkscape is my second favorite art-type program. Inkscape is fantastic at bringing true vector graphics creation to those of us who would rather not spend a fortune on software. Best of all, it is solid software in its own right.
Well today I found out that there is actually a great book for those looking to become more proficient with the application. You can buy it as a PDF or in print. Best of all, you can actually take a look at it chapter by chapter if you want for free!
I am honestly wanting to find a book like this for the Cinelerra video editor, but I would be thrilled to see this in my holiday shopping list regardless. If I had the time, I would love to just get the book and really sit down for some intensive learning. Inkscape is so powerful, seems shameful to use it with my current skill set!
