Which Distro Has The Most Users?

At first pass, this might seem like a silly question. But if you are considering bridging your business into a specific distro, knowing which one has the most usage might matter to you.
Speaking honestly, I am not sure that this article has all the information to make a clear call on actual usage. That said, here is a potential breakdown as I happen to see it. On the desktop side of things, there is no question whatsoever that Ubuntu most likely wins hands down here. Yet on the server front, I see a close call between Red Hat and Novell products. Ubunu on the server front still has a long ways to go.
And as the above linked article is so kind to point out, Google has millions using Linux in some fashion each and every day. Doesn’t count you say? Actually, considering the various web products that Google makes available to their users, I think it does. It’s just a matter of considering Google as a virtual OS.
