Microsoft To Head Its Own Open Source Foundation

This one really has me speechless. Really interested in how MS is defending this one when their motivation is highly suspect considering the fact that they are still spreading FUD about Linux in stores like Best Buy to this very day.
According to the Redmond software company, MS is merely looking to provide a forum from which both open source and proprietary interests can be represented. Seriously? Give me a break.
I believe it is pretty obvious that MS’ interests are provided for nicely in all of the businesses, schools and big box retail outlets in which they have their foothold firmly in place. But yes, let’s make sure Microsoft is not being left out in the cold! Bah…
